What's the role?

We’re looking for area sales managers from all different backgrounds to join our sales team in Botswana. But this is no ordinary sales manager job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

What does the role involve?

Ensure and understanding of the key financial levers to manage your business
Recruit, source and select excellent sales people for your team, have a bench candidate
Execute the Hilti Develop & Coach process, performance management (PMP) and strategic manpower development (SMD)
Demonstrate excellent multi-level sales skills when in front of customers and prospects within your region, as well as modeling these skills to help you to develop your sales team
Have excellent technical skills focused on product and application knowledge by trade
effectively use the Hilti support tools, e.g., Effective Business Planning, Sales Execution, SAP Mobile, etc

What you need is:

  • A diploma/bachelor’s degree in Sales/Management/Marketing
  • Minimum 4 years sales work experience in Construction and/or Mining
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment, courage and competitive drive
  • A willingness to learn and challenge yourself
  • Strong technical skills
  • Valid driver’s license
