Sales Account Manager - Cape Town
What's the role?
We’re looking for account managers from all different backgrounds to join our sales team in Cape Town/South Africa. But this is no ordinary sales job, as ours is a uniquely high-performing and supportive working culture.

What does the role involve?
As an Account Manager, you’ll be out and about visiting customers to grow and develop your own territory, wherever they’re working. You will find yourself in a variety of places such as construction sites, nuclear plants or in offices and warehouses.
Our sales model is about professional consultative selling, and it’s a really hands-on job. It means rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, while also selling the services and after-care that come with the Hilti name. Far from traditional cold calling, it’s about nurturing relationships with our customers, and helping them find the most innovative and cost-efficient solutions for their needs.

What you need is:
- Diploma/Degree or 5 years sales experience
- Minimum 2-5 years Sales Experience
- Experience in construction industry but not essential
- Microsoft Office Skills (essential)
- Excellent English Skills (Written and Spoken)
- Afrikaans (understood at least)
- High level of motivation, very strong customer focus, and a continuous improvement mentality required.
- Business acumen and excellent knowledge of the job market and network across the sector.
